I love capturing moments. Fleeting, styled, color, black + white. When I was younger, my parents purchased a Polaroid I-Zone camera for my older sister. Strips of memories in our hands within seconds of shooting, it was magic to us. We loved the thing! Flashback to the future, this year my best friend gave me a Polaroid Instax Mini 8 as a gift, officially my first instant camera. I got it in time for my trip to Vietnam, I was over the moon about it. The mini films are adorable and I could run through 4 packs of film within 2 hours, easy. The best thing is that Fujifilm has developed so many cool films for the Instax cameras. They even make sticker frames, many of them with designs that we don't see in film. I love looking for frame colors and patterns. A few of my favorite sites to look for new film and frames and just in general anything camera/photo related are PinterestMochiThings, and PhotojojoAmazon and eBay also always have really great deals on Instax products.

As of right now, I also own a Lomo'Instant Camera, which also takes the mini Instax film. It's a step up from the Instax Mini 8, with more exposure options and double exposure settings, my weakness. I love a good double exposure. As both the Lomo'Instant and Mini only take mini film however, I wanted to switch it up! My best friend, who's also a photographer, owns a Fujifilm Instax 210 and it only takes wide film. Her photos are quite beautiful and I've been eyeing a wide myself. A little secret, I recently purchased a Instax Wide 300 and it's on its way!! I should receive it next week! I am crazy excited to have it for Afropunk ATL, which is coming up fast. It'll be my first trip to Atlanta, and I'll be documenting it digitally and through film.

I can't wait to shoot and share my new memories with you!
