One of my goals of getting a year older has been to add more bight colored items to my wardrobe that I don't usually wear, aka, pink. I did not care for pink when I was younger. I did like color and sequins, just never a ton of pink. As I'm getting older, that's starting to change and I think pink is starting to grow on me. Like maybe a lot. Corals, mauves, paler pinks, and sometimes, if I'm feeling really out there, even a pink like the color of this coat. It's just incredibly fun. I thrifted it from Pilsen Vintage in Chicago's Pilsen neighborhood. It's more of a jacket than a coat, so light enough for layering, or thin enough to wear on it's own. Hot pink will probably not happen anytime soon, but then again, never say never! Also, these boots from Ego Shoes are my go to any time I need something fancy, but comfy. I love, love, LOVE embroidery and the heel is so low I've lasted an 8 hour work day with little to no pain.
